Spring 2013 Final Class Dates and Showcases:
Ages 5 to 7:
Storybook Stages: Thursday, June 13 - students should arrive at 4:15pm. Performance of The Crayon Box That Talked will begin at 4:45pm.
On the Spot, Improv for Kids: June 22 - students should arrive at 10:00am. Performance will begin at 10:30am.
Ages 8 to 11:
Kids On-Camera: Wednesday, June 12 - class will begin at 4:15pm. Parents are welcome at 5pm to observe and view some of the footage.
Broadway Melodies: Thursday, June 13 - students should arrive at 4:15pm. Performance begins at 5:00pm.
Budding Actor's Workshop: June 22 - students should arrive at 11:30am. Performance begins at 12:15pm.
Adults:
Off the Cuff, Comedy for Adults: June 11 - class will run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
Broadway Tap: June 13 - class will run from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

Curtain Call follows the Stamford Public Schools calendar as to vacation, holiday and weather-related closings. For emergency or weather-related closing information, watch our website, News Channel 12 or tune in to 1400 WSTC.
Refund policy:
100% refund if notified of withdrawal up to 7 days prior to the starting date of the class.
75% refund if notified of withdrawal less than 7 days prior to the starting date of the class.
50% refund if notified of withdrawal prior to the 2nd class date.
NO refunds beyond the 2nd class date.

Performance Workshop Program is…
Based on the Book
Curtain Call’s Summerstock Performance Workshop Program offers fun, creative and challenging full-day curriculums for ages eleven through sixteen. Our intensive programs focus on acting, improv, musical theatre and Shakespeare, while creating a safe and comfortable environment that promotes confidence and social development.
Now entering its 23rd summer, Summerstock will be Based on the Book: exploring plays and musicals adapted from fables, fiction and literature. Every two weeks begins a new and exciting program:
Summerstock Creative Theatre: Adapted to the Stage (ages 11 to 16)
June 24 to July 3, 2013; Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm
Explore plays, characters and scenarios adapted from literature through improv, modern acting and Shakespeare performance. Registration: $725
Summerstock Musical Theatre: Broadway by the Book (ages 11 to 16)
July 8 to 19, 2013; Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm
A tribute to musicals based on our favorite novels, books and stories! Registration: $800
(Register for both Creative Theatre and Musical Theatre and save $150!!!)
Students work in age-appropriate groups under area professionals specialized in the performing arts. All programs take place at the Sterling Farms Theatre Complex, with two stages, two studio classrooms and air-conditioning. Each two-week session culminates in a showcase performance for an invited audience! All students should bring a lunch and should dress comfortably and wear appropriate footwear: no flip-flops, sandals, open-toed shoes or “heelies.” |
