CURTAIN CALL'S SUMMER YOUTH THEATRE
produces a full-scale musical production each summer and offers creative opportunities for area youth ages ten to twenty-one both on stage and behind the scenes. Casting is by audition and all stage crew members must sign up with our producer and technical director. We even offer opportunities for youth on our production team. Participants develop confidence, build creative and social skills and build lasting friendships as they pull together as a team to create a stunning summer production under the guidance of our skilled and devoted production team.

SUMMERSTOCK PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS 2010
Summer is a time for kids to ACT OUT ... and what better way than in a Curtain Call performance workshop! Our professional facilities and experienced faculty provide the perfect environment for students of all ages and skill levels!
Our SUMMERSTOCK PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP PROGRAM is a full-day curriculum, offering intensive study in theatre performance for ages 6 to 11 and 11 to 16. In age-appropriate groups, students will rotate among a staff of area professionals dedicated to inspiring and nurturing our community youth in the performing arts. Looking for directors, choreographers and a music directors for our Summer Youth Theatre 2010 program.
Our Summer Youth Theatre program, which will be celebrating its 19th summer, has built a strong reputation and following. Up to 100 youth members between the ages of ten to twenty-one participate each summer, and our productions have drawn sell-out crowds.
Every year, we look for a highly creative and efficient production team with the knowledge and appreciation for working with youth performers and technicians.
Dates: Auditions the end of May, rehearsals beginning mid to late June through July, tech, dress and performance the first half of August, 2010. More details to come.
Applicants must have experience directing musical theatre and working with children. Also must collaborate with fellow production team members.
Stipend available.

| Summerstock Performance Workshops Teaching Assistant Positions |
Teaching Assistant Positions for Summerstock 2009
Currently accepting applications for Teaching Assistant Positions in our 2009 Summerstock Performance Workshop Program, which offers creative exploration in various forms of theatre, such as Improv, Modern Acting Musical Theatre, Shakespeare and Basic Theatre Design for students age 6 through 16.
Looking for applicants age 19 and up for our Summerstock Creative and Musical Theatre Programs, June 29 through July 24 with background in the performing arts and with working with children and teens. Must be available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Looking for applicants 15 and up for our Summerstock Junior Programs, July 27 to August 21 with interest and experience in performing arts and experience working with young children ages 6 through 11. Must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities: Teaching assistants would need to assist the Education Director in preparing the theatre complex for the start of each session and arrive prior to students and parents to ensure the facility and classrooms are safe and clean. They are expected to assist our instructors in the classroom by engaging in classroom exercises, helping students to run lines and rehearse their scenework and copying classroom materials. They must also assist our instructors in staging and running the student showcase at the end of each Summerstock session, and work behind the scenes to support the students during their showcase. Finally, they must assist the Education Director in striking and cleaning facility at each session's end.
